Through the eyes of the engineers, pilots and technicians who helped build the revolutionary Avro Arrow, this documentary explores one of the most inspiring—and heartbreaking—chapters in Canadian aviation history.

Journey back to the 1950s, when innovation, determination and extraordinary talent came together to create an aircraft decades ahead of its time. Then experience the devastating impact of Black Friday, February 20, 1959, when the Avro Arrow program was abruptly cancelled, ending thousands of careers and forever changing Canada’s aerospace future.

More than a historical account, this film is a tribute to the people behind the project—their ambition, resilience and lasting legacy. Their stories remind us that while the aircraft may have been lost, the spirit of innovation that created it continues to inspire generations today.
